Mohamadreza Tazari is an international award winning multidisciplinary Art\Sci new media artist and curator based in Tehran.
He received his B.A in Painting from the Faculty of Arts & Architecture of IAU, Tehran.
Mo’s artistic journey has been deeply influenced by chaos theory, fractals, and generative patterns inspired by nature. Utilizing advanced computational techniques, he generates intricate works through mathematical formulas and algorithms, creating a unique intersection of art, science, geometry, and vibrating patterns.
Mo’s work embodies the concept of “Everything is Connected” in his artworks in the form of Video Art, Digital Image, A\V performance, light installation and recently sound design.
His work has been showcased in international festivals and exhibitions across the US, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Austria, Greece, Ukraine, Portugal and UAE.
Mo’s accolades include the MADATAC X’s The Best Video Art Award for “The Cosmo Fractal” (2019) and curating an exhibition featuring Nonotak (2022).
Mo has collaborated with the legendary artists such as Kangding Ray, Emancipator, Bob Moses, Agents of Time, in several A\V performances as visual artist in London.
Mo founded TORUS creative studio in 2022 which is an communications and brand consulting studio.
Torus has an artistic vision in commercials and advertisement. At the same time Mo is currently working with Blanche London as a freelance Art director and Co-Curator at sēkwens London since 2017.
Mo is also a music video and short film director and has directed many music videos for international artists such as Emancipator and The Irrepressibles.In 2019, he won the MADATAC X Award for (The Cosmo Fractal) as the best video art of the year in Madrid, Spain.
In July 2022, he curated an International New Media Art and Digital Art Exhibition at Ariana Art Gallery Tehran and invited one of the pioneers in media art,
NONOTAK to present Daydream V.6.
In 2023 Mo has been selected to be featured in the 30th edition of Sónar; one of the greatest advanced music and new media art festivals in the World.
He’s currently working on his first audio\visual EP which will be released this year.
